STAHLWERK AC/DC TIG 200 Pulse Pro Digital is a multifunctional TIG welding machine with MMA/ARC capability for electrode welding. Thanks to advanced pulse width modulation (PWM) and state-of-the-art IGBT technology, it offers relatively low weight and excellent welding characteristics with reduced power consumption.
The welding machine features a job memory as well as pulse and spot welding functions. Furthermore, this combination welder excels at welding aluminum and thin sheet metal. The versatile inverter welder has a digital control panel with extensive functions and settings for DC MMA, DC TIG, AC TIG, DC, and AC pulse welding processes. The set welding parameters can be easily read on the clear digital display. The various modes can be quickly selected via the intuitive menu.

- DC TIG arc welding (DC TIG): TIG arc welding using direct current. The polarity of the tungsten electrode is either positive or negative throughout the entire welding process.
- TIG pulse welding: In TIG pulse welding, a base current and, at regular intervals, a high pulse current of the same polarity are added to optimize the arc characteristics for the desired welding applications. This avoids the risk of burn-through in thin materials and reduces heat deformation.
- AC TIG arc welding (AC TIG): TIG arc welding using alternating current. The electrode polarity is alternately switched between positive and negative throughout the welding process. It is primarily used for welding aluminum and aluminum alloys.
- AC TIG pulse welding: In AC TIG pulse welding, the pulse and alternating current modes are mixed, resulting in an even more perfect welding result.
- Spot function: An integrated spot function is used for spot welding thin sheets and body parts.
- Job memory: Storage option for user-configured settings/presets. Numerous memory locations are available.
- Anti-Stick (MMA): If the electrode sticks to the workpiece, the welding current is automatically reduced. The electrode does not overheat and can be easily removed from the workpiece.
- Hotstart (MMA): Automatic voltage increase at start-up for improved ignition results. By briefly superimposing the set welding current, it prevents the electrode from sticking and heats the weld start faster.
- Hot start (TIG): The hot start function enables a smoother and more stable arc start, increasing the efficiency of arc welding. The hot start current can be set between 30 and 150 A.

- Starting current: Current used at the start of the ignition, before it switches to the set welding current (4T).
- Welding current: Continuously variable welding current.
- Final current: Current that comes on at the end of the ignition, before the ignition goes out (4T).
- Current increase: After complete ignition of the arc, the welding process enters the current increase phase, in which the welding current is linearly increased from the set starting current value to the desired welding current value (4T).
- Current reduction: After the torch trigger is pressed and released again (4T), the device enters an automatic current reduction phase. This prevents porosity (end craters) at the end of the weld.
