Moldex 3505 FFP3 Valved Face Mask

The Moldex 3505 is an FFP3 Valved Disposable Face Mask. The masks uses an AirWave Filter that keeps breathing resistance low, keeping the wearer comfortable in the mask. It has DuraMesh technology that makes it extremely durable and resistant to damage. ActivForm removes the need for a nose clip, as the mask molds around the shape of the wearer’s face for a comfortable, secure fit and seal. The Ventex Valve reduces heat and humidity inside the mask, and reduces breathing resistance.

What is the difference between and FFP1, FFP2 and an FFP3 face mask? FFP3 masks offer greater protection than FFP2 and FFP1.  The FFP1 has an assigned protection factor (APF) of 4, the FFP2 has an APF of 10 and the FFP3 has an APF of 20.

What does the valve on the front of a disposable face mask do?  The valve helps lower the temperature inside the mask. Some people also find it reduces condensation caused by the mask when wearing eyewear.
